Xebec is a slim web chat client for Meridian. Meridian owns the whole chat lifecycle (threads, runs, streaming, resuming), so Xebec is just a view onto its API: list threads, send a message, follow the reply as it streams in.

It is Svelte 5 and TypeScript, built to static files. The only runtime dependencies are marked and DOMPurify, for rendering model output. Sign-in is handled by Meridian, so Xebec has no auth settings of its own.

The image is a small nginx container that serves the app and passes /api through to Meridian, so the browser sees a single origin. The look started from Mosaic’s design mocks, and the mark is a xebec’s two lateen sails.
